My name is Alicia and I first encountered BLoved while incarcerated in Tarrant County Jail and am now connected to the ministry through Kelly and a BLoved Bestie since releasing in early May. I have been battling the enemy for 6 years with 4 babies and two extremely abusive men to me and my kids. Through BLoved I have learned how to abide in the vine and war with the scriptures and warfare prayers while teaching my family to do the same. I have been praying the warfare prayers every single day and I am sober and restoring my family and walking in victory every day! Kelly’s class in jail saved my life! Truly God is using her in a mighty way and I’m so happy to be a part of the journey! I truly believe this class needs to be taught in a lot more places.
As a word of encouragement to others remember that life and this world want you stay in your intentions, but God blesses each step we take in faith and courage. Only our steps can lead us to the destiny He has for us! We can stay stuck forever and the world will gladly hold us back but faith that grows takes steps. It is time to start stepping.
God is calling the sinners, the ones who were sick, the ones who need a savior. He’s calling them every day, and we can stand in the gap and make requests before God for the people. Holy spirit gives us the flame, Jesus sparks it and our steps make it possible for God to give us strength to leave a fiery trail that changes our destiny’s. BLoved taught me that God wants to use us as fiery darts. He wants our hearts to cry out “I’m ready pick me! “My prayer is God choose me.
I have written many songs to the Lord since releasing, but the chorus of one song (Heaven’s Blackout) is “I’ve been carrying what I should have buried long ago. Every sin a stone, every stone a heavy load. But the war inside me found a way to lay it down. What I carried to the grave came back as holy ground.” It is my prayer that we all learn how to lay down our heavy load and let His light break out in the darkness.
