BLoved in the Shadows
We are going to the highways and byways so His house may be full (Luke 14:23). Teaching those under attack how to find safety under the wing of the Lord and be transformed in the fire rather than destroyed.
Childhood trauma can lead to very negative outcomes in adulthood including incarceration, homelessness, addiction, poverty, mental illness, broken relationships and many other life-hindering struggles. Edensong Ministries goes to the dark corners of our society to encounter individuals living with brokenness while bringing healing and reconciliation. As we work to heal the hearts of the broken, we are breaking the cycles of abuse and trauma in families. Trauma cycles are frequently generational unless interrupted by the love of the Father.

BLoved Behind Bars
BLoved is currently being offered to the women incarcerated in Tarrant County Jail. There are plans to take BLoved into the Texas prison system (TDCJ) as well.
With those who have coped with pain and trauma on the evil side of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the risks associated with continuing in bondage are extreme and impact generations and our communities. After release the women are invited to connect to a BLoved Community group and engage with The Village Coalition as reentry support. This model yokes in all members of the family for greater levels of long-term success.
If you are interested in taking BLoved into your local jail or prison, we are happy to equip you. The light shines greatest in the darkness.

Women Helping Women
There is an overt war on women and children with skyrocketing rates of poverty, homelessness or near homelessness among single mothers. The Village Coalition serves as a focal point to funnel struggling women to the needed resources and provide a localized support system to strengthen women and families in crisis.
Many of the women we serve do not have healthy support systems or role models. The Village Coalition builds a family support system around emotionally orphaned adults raising their own children. The coalition brings together families, the church and social service agencies to strengthen the foundations of the families.
In addition to BLoved, the coalition offers coaching for practical strategies to build a successful life and quarterly in person gatherings for the families. If you are interested in building A Village Coalition in your community please let us know.
