A Ministry of Reconciliation

THE MANDATE
Edensong Ministries is called to prepare the Bride for His return.
THE VISION
Turn the tide of battle in the war against the family by disarming Jezebel. This includes the family of God as well as physical families. (Psalm 56:9)
THE MISSION
Equip the saints to lead others into the refiner’s fire to cleanse and heal the soul using the teachings and tools of Edensong Ministries. Make the crooked paths straight so light may break out and push back the darkness. Go to the highways and byways so His house may be full. (Isaiah 58:6-12)
We have an enemy working diligently to prevent us from walking in the fullness of His plans for us. In the same way there is a war on the physical womb of a woman to stop life from coming forth, there is a similar war on the spiritual womb of God to keep believers from maturing and walking in their Kingdom identities. Only light scatters the darkness, but “if the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matthew 6:23). When believers fail to heal and continue in their brokenness, the light within is fractured, much like a prism, and we look just like the world. When the deep darkness comes, we will be overcome, but if we allow Him to break down the walls, His light will shine forth.
In the world the impact of darkness and the war on the family is evident, but as believers, we must examine the subtleties of these fractured relationships and allow healing and restoration, so we bring healing to the nations as trees of righteousness rather than tolerate the strategy of the enemy in our lives.
In the beginning man walked in intimacy with the Father, naked and unashamed with God and his helpmeet and was given authority over the land. As a result of the fall man was afraid of God’s voice, ashamed, hid and covered his nakedness. The relationship between man and woman and building a family were cursed, which included the nature of their relationship, provision, childbirth and a war on the seed of the woman. We can easily see the manifestation of these curses with the many atrocities and suffering in our world, but these factors can linger and look good rather than evil. The forbidden tree was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Whether it looks good or not, it is still the forbidden tree.
I believe every individual can relate to one or more of these results of the fall. How frequently have we allowed shame to impact our actions and cover ourselves? How many times have we hidden from God, ourselves and others and allowed our own issues to impact our relationships with others? We self-protect, self-soothe, self-promote, are self-reliant and self-sufficient. This is the epitome of covering ourselves with leaves when the Lord wants to cover us with flesh. However, we must be willing to once again be naked and unashamed as He removes our self-made coverings and covers us with Himself.
It all began in the garden, and this is where we find restoration and reconciliation. It is in the garden of our hearts where we encounter the Father and are reconciled as He replaces every lie planted in our hearts with truth and heals every wound . As we come out of hiding, become reacquainted with His voice and learn how to once again live naked and unashamed, the enemy will continue to temp us to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We must resist this evil plan and feast on His faithfulness allowing Him to break down walls and make more room for Himself in our hearts.
The teachings and tools of Edensong Ministries expose the lies of the enemy in the believer’s life, shatter shame and help believers develop a personalized strategy to resist the enemy and strengthen key intimate relationships in their lives.
All Edensong Ministries resources are designed to be used in a group mentoring setting to strengthen believers in their faith and empower them to rise as His bride and turn the tide of battle in their families, the family of God and in the world.
“The very moment I call to You for a Father’s help, the tide of battle turns, and my enemies flee. This one thing I know, God is on my side.” (Psalm 56:9)
