Hello I’m Shenell and I’m a single mom of two wonderful baby boys. When I first heard about BLoved I wanted to participate but was very hesitant due to my upbringing. I know that coming into this group I was very ashamed of who I was as a person, as a daughter and even as a mother. In the past I was always the brightest and I did go down very dark paths. BLoved has taught me that I am so much more than what the Devil whispers in my ears. I am a child of God who has an intimate relationship with God and that God is always here for me as long as I come to him unashamed and willing. It teaches that I can run to God when times get rough or whenever and talk to Him because He will always be there for His children. Ms. Kelly gets into the nitty gritty things and then goes on this wild adventure and gets into the groove of pursuing intimacy with God, others and ourselves. The program BLoved, in my humble opinion, is well put together and explains the importance of original intimacy and how things should be with God, others and ourselves. Not only is it explained well but you are in a group with others who are in the same situation as you, so it is easy to be understood, feel connections and work as one accord. It lets you know that you’re not alone and that you have people in your corner. BLoved is a step-by-step process, and it reminds me of the Bible story of the mustard seed. The way that I see this is that Ms. Kelly is the one planting seeds in us spiritually. She is guiding us to grow with the Lord, one another and ourselves and when we all look back on this, we can see how strong we have gotten in intimacy with the Lord. I thank God every day for sending Kelly into my life and if I had to recommend this program to anyone I wouldn’t hesitate. BLoved is definitely a start to something new and a game changer.
